I really enjoyed how conveniently close everything was, with the Oakland Museum of California just under 4 km away for some great local art and culture, and Mosswood Park only about 2.5 km away, perfect for a relaxing stroll surrounded by nature.

Smash Burger around the corner is a game changer for late-night cravings! Plus, Starbucks isn't far if you need that caffeine fix. And shoutout to the security staff for being genuine in a tough spot!

I had a lovely stay at Extended Stay America in Oakland. The kitchenette. Some areas felt a bit worn, but the friendly staff and convenient location near shops and dining made up for it.

We had a fantastic stay at Extended Stay America Suites, Oakland, Emeryville! The two double beds were super comfortable, and the kitchenette was well-equipped for our family needs. Our kids loved having the extra space to play and the location was perfect for nearby attractions.

The lobby and elevators need some serious cleaning. they felt quite neglected. Kitchenettes lack basic items like utensils, plates, and cooking gear unless requested, which can be annoying when you're ready to cook. Parking access can be a hassle since the gate requires you to call the front desk for entry, adding unnecessary steps to your arrival. Be prepared to deal with some less-than-ideal neighbors at times as well. The aesthetic of the furniture shows its age, with signs of wear that can be off-putting for some. Wifi connection worked fine, but water pressure in the shower could definitely use an upgrade.
